Matthew R. Stange

Matthew R. Stange is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls with degrees in Sociology and Criminal Justice. While at USF Matt was a member of the football and baseball teams, student government, and theatre program.

Born and raised in Orange City, IA, Matt now calls Sioux Falls home. His original plan was to attend law school. Having his LSATs taken he started eyeing which schools to attend until a family friend brought him into financial services while he was living in Southern California. He absolutely fell in love with working with clients and running his own business and never looked back. Now, almost a decade and a half later, Matt continues to bring that passion into the office every day at Meadowland Financial Group LLC where he, Matt and Pete get the pleasure of working for their clients together.

Prior to joining Meadowland Matt was a regional leader for Thrivent and Principal Financial where he was responsible for coaching and developing financial advisors while working with clients around South and North Dakota, Southwest Minnesota and Northwest Iowa. Before getting into leadership Matt traveled all over the western side of South Dakota conducting estate planning seminars and developing strategies with his clients to keep farms and assets in the family.

When not in the office Matt keeps busy with his wife Brita chasing their four children- Jaxon, Kennedy, Beckham and Cowen. He loves coaching their athletic teams, getting outside as much as he can and traveling with his wife whenever they get the chance.
