Peter N. Siegling MBA, CFP®, CAP®

Peter N. Siegling MBA, CFP®, CAP® is a graduate of the University of South Dakota, obtaining his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance. He is also a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtaining his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance. Additionally, the CFP® Board has awarded Pete with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.  He is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy.

Pete is a home-grown South Dakotan, growing up in Redfield, SD. His family was in the grocery business - his grandfather Ken started "Siegling's Super Valu," with his father Rod taking over and running the business until it's sale. That same entrepreneurial spirit flows through Pete's veins, which ultimately led him to join Matt as a 50% owner of Meadowland Financial Group LLC.

Prior to Meadowland Financial Group LLC, Pete spent a total of 11 years at TD Ameritrade in both Omaha, NE and San Diego, CA. He held multiple roles there, most notably Branch Manager and Regional Planning and Guidance Manager. As a Branch Manager, he was responsible for a 10 person financial advisor team. As a Regional Planning and Guidance Manager, he taught TD Ameritrade branches in Seattle, Portland, Denver, Minneapolis, and Milwaukee financial planning and investment management. Between his 2 stints at TD Ameritrade, Pete was also a VP - Financial Advisor for Chase Investment Services in Chicago, IL. Pete is married to his wife Alicia, together they have 3 children - Lily (12), Graham (8), and Jude (4). Outside of Meadowland Financial Group and his family, Pete is involved in the Delta Tau Delta Housing Corporation Board, the South Dakota Catholic Schools Foundation, and he and Alicia are members of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. If there is ever a spare minute (they are elusive!) you'll find him at Cottonwood Lake near Redfield or taking care of the old family farmstead near St. Lawrence, SD.
